There are quite a few websites that offer free product samples, but the problem is that most of them are not for Australians. Today we are going to look at one that is – Free Stuff My Way.

What Is Free Stuff My Way?

FreeStuffMyWay.com is made up of six team members who continually search the web to find things like free samples, contests or competitions, free trials, ways to earn some extra cash online, and other great freebies. Manny the Mammoth is their leader who provides encouragement and enthusiasm to every inch of work they do, and there are miles of work.

Their websites main categories are:

Free Stuff (Free Products)

Win Stuff (Enter Contests)

Earn Stuff (Online Survey)

Try Stuff (Discounts & Trials)

They focus on providing offers in for people in the following countries:

Australia

Canada

Ireland

New Zealand

United Kingdom

United States

There seems to be quite a few free product offers currently available to Australians, and I personally signed up to receive two free Hugo Boss fragrance samples (offer may not still be available).

Should You Sign Up For ‘Free Stuff My Way’?

If you are an Australian looking to receive free product samples, that I would say that this is one of your best options!

They have a super simple, and non intrusive signup process (just Country, First Name & Email), and you will receive weekly freebie offers in your email – as well as chances to win some great monthly prizes.

Wouldn’t that be a dream job? A game tester job is what every young guy dreams of when they are playing Halo, or Assassins Creed until early hours of the morning.

Getting paid to do what you are already willing to do for free sounds impossible – but let’s take a look at how to become a game tester and what both the responsibilities and the perks are to this position.

Are There Beta Game Tester Jobs?

These software companies are spending millions of dollars creating their latest hit video game and if it is launched successfully it could make them $50 million dollars or even more. That is why most of these companies are willing to pay people to test their games as it gets ready for launch, to iron out the bugs, to give opinions on interface and game play and just to get a good general overview of how their game will be received.

This process can either make or break a video games launch – so game testers play a very important role.

Job Description Of A Game Tester

A specific job description is hard to lay out because each company hires testers for different tasks and you could be doing all of them or hired specifically to focus on one issue.

That being said, common asked questions on a work assignment sheet are:

What did you think of the main game menu?

What did you like best/worst about the game play?

How could gameplay be improved to make it easier and more comfortable to use?

Do you prefer the single or multi-player format (and why)?

Any bugs that you have noticed?

How would you rate the game overall from 1-10?

Perks Of Landing A Gaming Testing Job

There are plenty of great reasons to want a beta tester job, but a couple that stand out are:

They want to pay you to play video games!

You get to keep the games after testing

Work from home (in you pajamas if you want!)

What Are Your Options?

Landing a job by just contacting the big software companies up front is very hit and miss (more likely ‘miss and miss’). A better option is to take advantage of a few guides and manuals that will give you the right advice, steps and contacts that will see you landing a gaming job a lot quicker.

My Survey is one of the biggest online survey website in Australia, but can you trust them or are they just another survey scam site to steer clear of?

Let me start by saying that I have personally been a member of My Survey for a couple of years now and I can safely say that they are not a scam!

Who Are MySurvey.net.au?

MySurvey have recently had been re branded, which may be why you have not heard of them before. But they used to be know as Lightspeed Surveys Australia and are backed by the international market research company Lightspeed Research.

My Survey is a consumer panel made up of individuals who have volunteered to participate in market research studies. Their website is where panel members can participate in online research, update their information and redeem their My Survey Points for gifts & gift cards at major retailers.

Do You Get Paid Cash?

MySurvey have a lot of options when it comes to cashing in your rewards points. From xBox Live memberships to gift cards at major retailers – and yes, you can even cash your rewards points in for cash!

Here are just a few of the rewards that you can redeem your My Survey points in for:

As you can see, there are some big national and international companies connected to My Survey, so you would love to think that they would check out their connections before putting their brand up next to them – so this should be one of the big signals that My Survey is not a scam and should be seriously considered if you are looking to complete online surveys for money.

You Next Move…

If you came here to decide if My Survey is a scam or not before you consider signing up with them to complete surveys, then I suggest that you just sign up.

>> Visit the MySurvey.net.au website.

Wouldn’t it be great to get paid to test products? There are so many new products entering the market these days that you would think that there are plenty of product tester jobs on offer, but the truth is:

They are usually only available in certain areas

And they are pretty popular (I mean, who wouldn’t want to get paid to test new products?)

So the big questions are:

What Is A Product Tester?

How Do I Become One?

And these are the questions I aim to cover now.

What Is A Product Tester?

Being a product tester basically means that you receive products from businesses, you then test them and a detailed evaluation of the product. These companies then use your evaluations and analyse your feedback to help them improve their products for their target market.

How Do I Get Paid To Test Products?

When it comes down to finding positions as a product tester, there are two real options.

Use A National Company

Your first option is to sign up with one of the major Australian research companies. They mostly have conduct surveys related to products that you have seen and experienced already but a few of them also include free products to test at home.

Toluna is one of these companies, and actually conduct research and product testing internationally.

Find A Local Business

Your other option is to find a local market research company that specifically does product testing. There are a few of these, but the majority of these are in capital cities and jobs/places with these companies are very limited.

In fact the only one I could find was Alta Research.

So your options are pretty limited if you are looking to work with a local research company because they usually only want up to 10 people at a time and I am sure that you can understand that there would litereally be 100 of people wanting to get paid to test products – so your best best is to sign up with a company like Toluna, complete their surveys (and get paid) and hope that they offer you a product to test every now and then.

There is a lot of talk about paid surveys at home in the media. The current affairs shows love to talk about them, but I bet there are a lot of you who are wondering if these offers are legitimate and how you go about finding the best ones to work with (the ones that actually pay you!)

I’ve been completing paid surveys for a couple of years now, and if you name a market research company, I have probably either signed up with them (or at least heard of them). This has given me a lot of insight into the industry, and the opportunity to work out which companies are the best to work for – and which are the ones to steer clear of.

This is not something that people first looking at completing online surveys are privy to, so I decided to make a list of my 4 favourite online survey for money websites for your to consider:

My Top 4: Complete Paid Surveys At Home

MyView is my favourite survey company to work with because not only is their actual survey interface super easy to use, they try to keep things fun and always tell you upfront how much you are going to make from a survey – AND how long they expect it to take you. So you can weigh up the benefits before starting (because some surveys can be really long!)

WhatDoYouThink is a mixture of online surveys, paid market research and free offers. They are a very popular Australian site that allows you to redeem your points for vouchers to major retailers.

By registering your details, you will be eligible to receive email invitations to complete surveys and participate in market research as well as take part in exclusive offers to get free stuff.

My Survey is a consumer panel made up of individuals (like yourself) who have signed up to participate in market research studies.

Owned and operated by the global research company, Lightspeed Research, the results or their surveys are routinely reported in publications such as the Financial Times, Wall Street Journal, Time magazine, and other international publications.

LiveTribe is an online community where members receive rewards, prizes and incentives for taking part in online research activities like surveys and discussion groups. who understand that their opinions count!

It is a perfect opportunity for you to give your opinions so that big businesses (and governments) gain an understanding what you think about their products and services.

If you live in Sydney and you have heard about the opportunity for mystery shopper jobs, then you are part of the lucky few.

Sydney is definitely the mystery shopper capital of Australia, with the majority of secret shopper companies being based in Sydney – this means that you are a step ahead of the rest.
Where To Find Mystery Shopper Jobs In Sydney

Gone are the days when everything is done in person, with the majority of secret shopper companies being solely based online – and that is where you find them.

The internet is a great resource for finding these market research companies, and I also recommend that once you do find some – that you use the internet to find some reviews on what other people thing about them.

When it comes to market research, there are a couple of different opportunities that seem to get lumped under the ‘paid market research’ but are really quite different. So what I want to do is take a look at each one, and how easy it will be to do if you live in Brisbane.

Brisbane Paid Market Research Options

Market Research Groups

There are a few companies that are looking for people to come in to a central location for a personal market research opportunity. This is usually to try new products, or for something that requires a physical element.

These opportunities are usually few and far between as the majority of these companies have turned their market research online. So while there is the potential to get a job like this in Brisbane – it is getting harder.

Secret Shopper Jobs

The most of local type research jobs are now to do with secret shopping, and being a mystery shopper in Brisbane is quite easy. There are a lot of different mystery shopping companies and a quick Google search will give you a great place to start.

Paid Online Surveys

As I said above, the majority of paid market research jobs (not just in Brisbane, but Australia-wide) are turning online. The reason for this is that it is cheaper for the companies, and a lot easier for us – as we can do it in the comfort of our own homes.

If you are looking at getting started in surveys and looking for some legitimate survey companies, then have a look at the ones I recommend below:

** Zoupon has recently changed is name to Deals.com.au**

I must admit that I find it funny that people are calling Zoupon a scam.

While their offer may sound far fetched (and I am usually the first person to call massive discounts out as a scam, you really need to understand how their business really works before you call it the Zoupon scam.

How Zoupon Works

Zoupon is a a business that works of the power of numbers. Here is a simple overview of their 5 step process:

Step One: Zoupon sends you an email telling you about a great experience or service, at a great discount 50% to 90% off the normal price (exclusive to Zoupon members).

Step Two: If you want to buy the Zoupon, simply click BUY and enter a few quick details.

Step Three: As soon as the ‘minimum number’ of people buy the deal – everyone gets the discount!

Step Four: When the deal goes through, your credit card is charged for the discounted amount of the deal and you are emailed a Zoupon Voucher.

Step Five: You print off the voucher, and enjoy an awesome experience for half price or better!

Sounds Simple Enough But:

I know you probably have a couple of other questions, so let me tackle a couple of the main reasons people call Zoupon a scam.

Why Would The Companies Give 50-90% Discounts?

This is simply marketing. The company offering a discount for the day is hoping that 100′s of people will buy their discounted offer – love it experience so much that they will return and become regular customers.

They use the database that Zoupons has to promote their business.

Will The Spam Me With Emails?

The whole foundation of this business is based on offering an amazing deal each day – so you will receive an email each day – detailing the offer for that day.

That being said, you can opt out at any time and you will only not receive any additional emails.

Does It Work Australia Wide?

Currently if you live in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney or Adelaide then they have specific offers for your area.

So Is Zoupons A Scam?

Definitely not. They are a marketing company that promotes heavily discounted products on behalf of other businesses.

If you love a good bargain, then I recommend you checking them out!

I am surprised when I hear people talking about paid survey scams – because I have been successfully signing up for Australian survey website, completing their surveys and getting paid in cash and vouchers for the last 18 months now.

The problem I see, and the World of Paid Surveys scam is a great example of this – is that people looking at paid online surveys as an opportunity are just plain greedy.

They get sucked into the promises of $50 per survey, and 20 surveys a day – when in reality this is not the normal (and far from it in most cases).

Why People Call Paid Surveys, Scams…

The reason that a lot of people call this part-time income opportunity a scam is because they are promised the world, and when that is not delivered they turn against the whole industry – when it is just several rogue websites and companies that give the industry a bad name.

The truth is that there are a lot of great Australia survey websites that will send you regular paid survey opportunities and pay you in either cash or vouchers.

Now, as I just said, you are not going to be getting paid $50 for a 60 question multiple choice questionaire – but you will receive a constant flow of $1-3 surveys – that all add up to a nice little part-time income.

So Who Are The Best Survey Companies To Sign Up For?

There are some great legitimate paid surveys available, and I have taken it upon myself to compile a selection of the best ones – that I have personally tested and use on a regular basis.

What Do You Think?

MySurvey

Winning Surveys

So avoid the paid survey scams, and start earning a great little side income for yourself and your family.

Have you been searching the internet looking at online paid surveys only to find the majority of them only want to pay you in ‘points’.

I don’t know about you, but when I was in your shoes, I wanted surveys for cash – (real money!).

It can be difficult sifting through the ‘points’ based systems to find the survey companies that are willing to pay you in cold hard cash (not vouchers), so I have decided to list my top surveys for cash offers available in Australia!

Best Surveys For Cash Offers

MySurvey

While MySurvey does actually work of a points basis. The reason I am always recommending them to my friends is because they allow you to redeem your points for CASH!Plus, their points structure is incredibly simple to follow (100 points to $1) – so I have no hesitation recommending MySurvey as my number one ‘surveys for cash’ company.

>> Sign Up With My Survey!

Global Test Market

Another favourite of mine, purely for the fact that they pay in US$ (which means more money for us Aussies), Global Test Market is a fantastic company that will send you a consistent stream of new surveys.

>> Sign Up With GlobalTestMarket Surveys

Now, the majority of other Australia survey websites work on a points system that you can exchange in return for vouchers for major stores and products. For if you are looking to complete surveys for cash then the above two companies are the ones that I recommend.
