I am surprised by the amount of people that I talk to that say that ALL the paid online surveys style websites are a scam.
While there are a few companies and quite a few ‘products’ giving paid online surveys a bad name, I think that the way a lot of the survey companies are being promoted is the main reason for the bad taste that is left in a lot of mouths.
You are not going to make thousands of dollars a month from completing online surveys (no matter who is trying to tell you that they are!). But a nice part-time income of a couple of $100/month is more that possible – if you stick at it.
How Much Will I Make From Paid Online Surveys?
Realistically, you will make between $1-5 on the majority of surveys. With some extra long ones giving you the potential to earn more.
Now while this may not seem like a lot of money, if you sign up for 3-5 of the major paid market research companies you will most likely get between 1-3 surveys a day – which if you are eligible for them all, adds up to $100+ a month.
So, as you can see, this is a great little extra income earner, and I find that a lot of the people who start doing paid online surveys are mothers who are looking to earn a bit of extra cash while looking after their children at home.
